Students will be guided in hand-painting their own dinnerware set, completely functional once fired in our kilns. The 4 pieces will be a cohesively designed dinner service that utilizes a wide variety of painting techniques that are applicable outside of the ceramic medium. The design is chosen by you! $100 includes the cost of everything: one mug, one bowl, one salad and dinner plate, all required materials, and four hours of instruction. Payment is made in full upon scheduling your first hour-long class. Register Now!
Students will be guided in the creation of an 11×14 size painting from start to finish. This project-specific method of teaching allows for a full-bodied exploration of fundamentals in either watercolor or acrylic paint. Throughout the four lessons, the student will be introduced to each aspect of the creative process through applied practice and will leave our studio feeling confident to create more. $100 covers the cost of instruction, which is paid in full upon scheduling your first class. The $125 cost for materials is collected at the conclusion of the first hour of instruction ($75 for children ages 7-14). Framing of your canvas is included. Register Now!
